Dr. Meghav Manoj Shah is a highly accomplished Structural and Interventional Cardiologist with over 13 years of progressive experience in advanced cardiac care, coronary interventions, imaging-guided procedures, and structural heart therapies. Trained at leading international centers in the UK and South Korea, he has developed deep expertise in complex coronary procedures including Left Main PCI, bifurcation interventions, CTO angioplasty, IVUS/OCT-guided PCI, and rotational atherectomy.
A distinguished Structural Heart Specialist, Dr. Shah has performed 160+ TAVI procedures as primary operator, with proficiency in both balloon-expandable and self-expanding valve platforms. He is an officially designated TAVI Proctor, involved in training other cardiologists in advanced transcatheter valve therapies. His skills extend to mitral TEER (Pascal), valve-in-valve procedures, pulmonary valve interventions, and a broad spectrum of catheter-based structural procedures.
He has independently performed 4000+ of coronary angiograms and 1400+ complex angioplasties and remains adept in pacemaker & ICD implantation, peripheral vascular interventions, and advanced echocardiography including TEE. With strong academic involvement as an Ex-Assistant Professor at BYL Nair Hospital, he has trained numerous residents in clinical and interventional cardiology.
Dr. Shah has an extensive research background, contributing to multiple national and international publications, clinical trials (including BHF PROTECT – TAVI), audits, and case studies. His research covers coronary interventions, device retrievals, cognitive science in cardiovascular disease, and complex structural interventions.
